Kawasaki Z900 Supersport Bike Launched in India: 948cc Liquid-Cooled Engine with Smartphone Connectivity

Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer Kawasaki has launched the 2024 Z900 supersport bike in India at Rs 9.29 lakh. The company hasn’t made any major changes to the updated model, but the new bike has become more expensive by Rs 9,000 compared to the old one.

The new Kawasaki Z900 is powered by a 948cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke in-line four engine, which generates 125hp of power at 9,500rpm and 98.6Nm of peak torque at 7,700rpm. The engine is tuned to a 6-speed gearbox, quickshifter and slip-and-sist clutch.

Kawasaki Z900: Design:

Talking about the design, the Kawasaki Z900 is built on a steel trellis frame, with a muscular 17-litre fuel tank, split-style step-up seat, side-slung exhaust and upswept exhaust system. For lighting, the bike features a full LED light setup.

The Kawasaki Z900’s color TFT dash can be connected to your smartphone through the ‘Rideology’ app. The Kawasaki Z900 has 2 power modes, 3 riding modes and 3 labels of traction control that make up the electronics suite and non-switchable dual-channel ABS.

Apart from this, for braking, the Kawasaki Z900 gets twin 300 mm front disc and 250 mm rear disc brakes with adjustable inverted forks and mono-shock suspension.
