Adani Group has become the main sponsor of the Indian team for the Paris 2024 Olympics. Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani himself has made this announcement. He gave this information through social media platform X.
On Monday, he launched a campaign and launched a documentary to boost the morale of Indian athletes participating in the Paris Olympics.
He said, ‘We are getting ready for the 2024 Paris Olympics. I wish all the best to all the players representing our country on the biggest sporting stage in the world. The tireless efforts and unwavering dedication of the players epitomizes the never-say-die spirit of India. I am confident that this time we will win the most medals ever in the Olympics.’
The campaign, run by the Adani Group, focuses on athletes working hard to represent the country at the Paris Olympics. In this documentary, India’s top athletes are seen working up a sweat. Speaking at the documentary launch, Sanjay Adesara, CEO, Adani Sportsline said, ‘At Adani Sportsline, we wish our champion athletes all the best and wish them greater success than ever before.’
Since 2016, Adani Group has supported 28 athletes from sports including boxing, wrestling, tennis, javelin throw, shooting, running, shot put, archery. Commonwealth Games gold medalist wrestlers Ravi Kumar Dahiya and Deepak Punia and boxer Amit Panghal have also received support from the Adani Group. Ravi won a medal for the country at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, while Deepak Punia won a silver medal at the 2023 Asian Games.
