Madison Crowell, 18, of Georgia, told ABC News that her success was driven by her desire to show others that they can get into the college of their dreams. Madison told that he has chosen High Point University, North Carolina for studies.
Madsyn Crowell is scheduled to graduate from Liberty County High School on May 18. He had applied to hundreds of American universities for further studies. Out of which he chose High Point. Crowell said that choosing High Point was one of the best decisions I have made. She will do her doctorate in physical therapy here.
Parents were preparing for college right from middle school.: “I want to show the kids of Liberty County that you can get into schools that you think are out of reach,” Crowell said. Let us tell you that Liberty County is one of the poorest counties of America. About 14 percent of the 69,000 people living in Liberty County are below the poverty line. According to ABC News, Crowell’s parents Delando Langley and Melissa Langley had been planning to send her to college since she was in middle school. His parents often visited the university campus.
Many universities rejected applications
Crowell had applied for scholarships in hundreds of American universities. Out of which 231 applications were accepted. However, many universities also rejected his applications. Which includes Colorado College, Tulane University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Students in America are largely dependent on scholarships to study in universities. That’s why he applies for scholarship in hundreds of universities. Universities offer them scholarships as per their course. From which students choose their favorite university. However, High Point University, North Carolina has not disclosed the number of scholarships offered to Madeline Crowell.
